El olvido que seremos, una historia de amor Cappabianca, Alessandra The protagonist of the following article is not a historical person, an artist or the hero of a novel. The protagonist of this article is a work. A work that belongs to the genre of testimonial literature and that has the extraordinary power to reach the hearts of readers. The main character of the story, The forgetfulness that we will be, written by Héctor Abad Faciolince, is the author’s father, the hygienist doctor, Héctor Abad Gómez, assassinated on August 25, 1987, for his civil commitment in Colombia in the eighties. So, in addition to Dr. Gómez, the story of his family and Colombia itself become the protagonists of a work that, published in November 2005, by the end of that year had been reprinted three times, reaching more than forty editions and more than 200 thousand copies sold in his country. The story has just reached the cinema: fifteen years after its publication, The Forgetful We Will Be has become a film, directed by Fernando Trueba, spanish director and screenwriter, that with this film, starring the actor Javier Cámara, has won the Goya 2021 award for best foreign film in spanish.; El protagonista del siguiente artículo no es un personaje histórico, un artista o el héroe de una novela. El protagonista de este artículo es una obra. Una obra que pertenece al género de la literatura testimonial y que tiene el extraordinario po-der de llegar al corazón de los lectores. El personaje principal del relato, El olvi-do que seremos (Abad Faciolince, 2017), escrito por Héctor Abad Faciolince, es el padre del autor, el médico higienista Héctor Abad Gómez, asesinado el 25 de agosto de 1987 por su compromiso civil en la Colombia de los años ochenta. Así que, además del doctor Gómez, la historia de su familia y de Colombia misma se convierte en la protagonista de una obra que, publicada en noviembre de 2005, para final de ese año había sido reimpresa en tres ocasiones, alcanzando más de cuarenta ediciones y más de 200 mil ejemplares vendidos en su país. Relectura del sistema político chileno después del estallido social de 2019 Carabantes Olivares, Edgardo The text provides elements to support three theses about the political system in Chile, namely, in the first place there was no return to a democratic system after Pinochet left the government in 1990 because that was the design of its main ideologue; secondly, the multi-party system until 2019 was rather nominal given that the networks of influence and corruption annulled it in practice; finally, the true transition to a democratic system begins in October 2019 with the beginning of the social outbreak. Empirical and theoretical; El texto aporta elementos para sostener tres tesis acerca del sistema políti-co de Chile, a saber: en primer lugar no se regresó a un sistema democrá-tico después de que Pinochet dejara el gobierno en 1990 porque así era el diseño de su principal ideólogo; en segundo lugar, el multipartidismo hasta el año 2019 fue más bien nominal dado que las redes de influencias y corrupción lo anulaban en la práctica; finalmente, la verdadera transición a un sistema democrático empieza en octubre de 2019 con el inicio del estallido social. Keeping in mind the historiographical marginality that characterizes the emigration phenomenon in question, an attempt was made to reconstruct the articulated paths and difficulties encountered by the inhabitants of the valleys in their wanderings towards South America. around the role played by the piemontesi women’s missionary associations) with the clarification of the socio-economic contribution provided by the valley communities to the host ter-ritories which represented both for the countries of Latin America and for the neo-Waldensian settlers, a real political compromise.; El estudio a continuación se desarrolla en el ámbito de la compleja pro-blemática de la emigración valdense durante el siglo XIX. Partiendo de la marginalidad historiográfica que caracteriza a este fenómeno migratorio, se ha intentado reconstruir los articulados caminos y las dificultades a las que tuvieron que hacer frente los habitantes de los valles en sus despla-zamientos hacia América del Sud. Tras enmarcar el papel jugado por las asociaciones misioneras femeninas piamontesas, en la parte central del ensayo se ha puesto de manifiesto la aportación socioeconómica propor-cionada por las comunidades de los valles a los territorios hospederos que representó, tanto para los países de América latina como por los neocolo-nos, un verdadero compromiso político.
