<title>As mulheres nos prontuários do sanatório pinel de pirituba</title>

<description>As mulheres nos prontuários do sanatório pinel de pirituba
dos Reis Barbosa, Grazielle
The hospitalization of patients to the ‘Sanatório Pinel’ was followed by exams, in addition to a questionnaire answered by a family member. By reading the medical records, we noticed that the answers obtained through the questionnaire filled out by the family member responsible for the hospitalization were often used and reinforced in the description of the psychic examination, which suggests a strong bond between family and doctors, and, consequently, the dissemination of eugenic discourse in Brazilian society in the 30s and 40s. In this article, we intend to expose the Brazilian context of the 1930-1940s, and some aspects of the medi-cal records of women hospitalized in the ‘Sanatório Pinel de Pirituba’ in those decades.

<title>Escamoteamentos socioculturais e sociolinguísticos: políticas colonizantes e efeitos híbridos</title>

<description>Escamoteamentos socioculturais e sociolinguísticos: políticas colonizantes e efeitos híbridos
Lima Hernandes, Maria Célia
The proposal that I formulate in this research article is a reflection about methods adopted in the same colonizing logic both in Brazil and in Macau. Throughout the text, I bring social characterization and the concept of hybrid-ity closer to what we consider to be watertight categories in the Science of Lan-guage. As a scientific attempt to incorporate human migration in the linguistic superdiversity context, we have highlighted some problems arising from ad-herence to labels generated over the 20th century in Linguistics and bring a more wider conception of language including identity traits in this discussion, since being hybrid can be an advantage in some moments and a losses in oth-ers. For this study, I will mobilize two specific cases: the mameluco (Indian and Portuguese → Euroamerican) and the Macanese (Chinese and Portuguese →Euroasian), children of the land and bicultural in essence. From them, we will discuss the hybrid effects resulting from the colonizing policy.

<title>El faraute de Hernán Cortés. Un Go-between en la conquista de México.</title>
<link>http://elea.unisa.it/xmlui/handle/10556/6324</link>
<description>El faraute de Hernán Cortés. Un Go-between en la conquista de México.
López López, Marina
In this research article study is analyzed, with a qualitative methodology, a key concept for the understanding of the conquest of Mexico, the «Go-Between». It is a perspective to the role Marina, la Malinche, played as «faraute» of Hernán Cortés. Moreover, it also provides a fruitful starting point to distinguish the Cortesian «faraute» from the Renaissance translator, the messenger, the ambassador, the spy, and even from the Simmelian typology of intermediary. All of them are different from the «faraute» and, in the case of Marina, her role between the Middle Ages and the first modernity is paradigmatic.
