Abstract: The speech proposes to draw up a brief history of the main editions of Francesco De Sanctis works, circumscribing the analysis area in the twentieth century and the phenomenon of the re-edition, opening a comparison between Laterza and Einaudi editions and considering the relationship between both with the previous Croce’s action. The discussion delve into the Lessons, establishing a comparison between the editions of Attilio Marinari and Croce and dealing specifically with the publication of school notebooks. Finally, we consider the important critical experiences of the novel Un viaggio elettorale to the new national editional plan of the years 2000, which has never been implemented.
