Abstract: For the classroom experimentation of integrated modules of Spanish L2 and sociocultural history in the Spanish language classroom of Foreign languages and cultures degree course at the Univerisity of Salerno, we integrate the Model of Intercultural Communicative Competence aimed at the formation of intercultural citizens, and the language-driven CLIL approach with the focus on form. The use of Ecuadorian movie Qué tan lejos provided motivating input to develop various activities with diverse interactive modalities and for a dynamic assessment of the intercultural communicative competence, interpreted as the ability of coming out of naturalized ways to conceive and verbalize L1 for “rethinking for speaking” in Spanish L2. After a brief description of the theoretical framework and the activities proposed, we present the results of the self-evaluation questionnaire given to students.
