La protezione giuridica delle coppie omosessuali nell’ambito europeo: sviluppi e prospettive

Abstract

The present article aims to analyze the influences of the multilevel protection of fundamental rights on same-sex relationships, with a special focus on the European Convention of Human Rights. The contribution points out three issues that could potentially contribute to the development of the case law of the Court of Strasbourg and the evolution of the Convention. The article concludes with a general consideration on the relationship between the public and private dimension of sexual orientation as common ground of these issues.
