Inchiesta intorno un’assenza: il legame tra Eugenio Montale e Roberto Bazlen

Abstract

Indagare il rapporto letterario e umano che intercorre tra Roberto Bazlen ed Eugenio Montale è il compito che questo intervento si propone. Tale scelta appare giustificata dal fatto che le influenze tra il poeta genovese e l’onnivoro lettore triestino siano molteplici, ma ancora poco indagate, anche a causa della scarsezza di documenti certi ai quali fare affidamento. Per questo motivo, si cercherà di delineare il rapporto fra i due intellettuali soprattutto attraverso il loro carteggio, i componimenti e gli scritti in prosa di Montale in cui maggiormente si avverte la eco di Bobi.

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the literary and human relationship between Roberto Bazlen and Eugenio Montale. This choice seems justified by the fact that, despite the existence of several influences between the Genoese poet and the omnivorous reader from Trieste, they are still investigates, mainly due to the scarcity of reliable documents. For this reason, this work will try to outline the relationship between the two intellectuals mainly focusing on their correspondence, in addition to Montale’s conpositions and prose works in which Bobi’s echo is most noticeable.
