Abstract: The paper analyses the risks posed to the fundamental right of personal data protection by some of the measures adopted in Spain in response to the Covid19 sanitary crisis due to lack of regulation, or lack of a specific Act. Before delving into the analysis, the paper focuses on the legal framework adopted to face the crisis provoked by Covid-19, the high number of laws and regulations that it comprises and the confusion that ensued. Eventually, it shows an example of how personal data protection regulation is used as a fake limit to the principle of transparency.
