Abstract: | The objective of this research article is to highlight through a qualitative methodology the significant example of the relationship between migration and economic development represented by Mexican migration. Since the Bracero Program, Mexican migration to the United States has increased significantly, converging in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the NAFTA treaty, but, in fact, the analysis of these shows the failure of the migratory labor policies, since migration can be a thriving factor in economic development and not a deterrent. Therefore, development policies need a comprehensive approach that considers migration as a growth factor. |
