dc.description.abstractRising from a collaboration between Stanislavski and Brecht, this study explores how the contempo rary theater, in its textual and scenic structures, requires a new type of an actor who had to reme diate the gap between text and representation. To reflect the new type of “stage writing” and per formative forms, the actor’s body becomes a mean of expression, a blank page that captures all signs and translates them to the spectator by the medi ation of the “performed words” and gestures crossing it.it_IT
