Quasimodo traduttore e traduttologo

Abstract

Muovendo tra testi letterari e scritti giornalistici, mira a rinvenire la poetica sottesa alle traduzioni di Quasimodo e a evidenziare la teoria e le tecniche traduttive dello stesso, che prefigurano alcune acquisizioni della moderna traduttologia.

Examining both literary texts and journalistic writings, the paper aims to reveal the poetics underlying Quasimodo’s translations and to highlight his theoretical approaches and translation techniques, which prefigure some of the concepts at the heart of modern translation studies.
