Come d'incanto... la comicità: riletture dell'immaginario magico nella narrativa breve antico-francese

Abstract

Il contributo esplora il rapporto tra magia e comicità in una selezione di testi appartenenti alla narrativa breve antico-francese, i fabliaux e i lais burlesques, due generi letterari che offrono un interessante esempio di riuso in chiave comica e parodica di motivi ed elementi magici (oggetti, animali, personaggi) tipici della tradizione letteraria cortese.

This paper explores the relationship between magic and comedy in a selection of Old French short narratives, specifically the fabliaux and the lais burlesques. These medieval literary genres provide an interesting case study of how magical motifs and elements (objects, animals, characters), common to courtly literature, are transformed and reimagined for comedic purposes.
