El trauma de la muerte como hecho cotidiano, el analfabetismo, la emigración forzada y la transculturación que impactan en la hibridez de la lengua o la sintaxis de una emigra da italiana que llega a la Argentina después de la segunda guerra mundial. Sobre estas cuestiones discurre el siguiente artículo, a partir de testimonios familiares, de materiales documentales, audiovisuales y de la novela Música materna.

The trauma of death as an everyday occurrence, illiteracy, forced emigration, and trans culturation—all of which affect the hybridity of language or syntax of an Italian emi grant who arrives in Argentina after World War II. These are issues addressed in the following article, based on family testimonies, documentary and audiovisual materials, and the novel Música materna (Maternal music).
