Abstract

In recent years, Spain has seen the emergence of numerous works by authors who, through personal or family experience, have developed a migratory background. In this essay, I aim to examine how their writing brings to light the trauma caused by uprooting, the challenges associated with migration, and the presence of psychological distress that Spanish psychiatrist Joseba Achotegui has classified under the term Ulysses Syndrome.
