| it_IT |
| dc.description.abstract | In recent years, studies on Italian song have increasingly acknowledged the literary value of the lyrics produced by major cantautori. Among them, Fabrizio De André holds a central place in the canon of Canzone d’autore (Talanca, 2021). Nevertheless, a portion of his production remains largely unexplored: youthful writings, songs composed for other performers, poems, a novel, and unfinished projects of which only notes and testimonies survive. This contribution aims to examine these minor works, often overlooked by scholarly criticism, in order to identify their thematic and stylistic nuclei and to highlight their connections with De André’s better-known production. Through critical analysis, the study will show how these texts, far from being mere curiosities, can instead be regarded as expressions of a coherent authorial poetics. Investigating this material not only enriches our understanding of De André’s work but also reshapes the boundaries of his artistic legacy, offering new tools for analysing and interpreting the works of one of the most influential cantautori of twentieth-century Italy. | it_IT |
