dc.description.abstractThis work focuses on the increasingly presence of foreign students in the Italian schools. Starting from the concept of globalization, going through multiculturalism, we arrive at the construction of an identity based on the education for inclusion. The democratic society of inclusion is achieved by creating a context in which everyone, regardless of ethnic background, culture, religion or income, can really feel part of a human community responsible and aware of its own rights and duties. This contributes to the evolution from the concept of monoculture society toward the multicultural one. Education, therefore, being a continuous process accompanying the growth of the people in time and space, aims to encourage the development of its own potential and, at the same time, offers new perspectives to look at the phenomenon of foreign students with greater transparency, evaluating it as an added value.it_IT
