Abstract
The new discovery of a coin hoard in a rural area of eastern Veneto’s region, turned on the spotlight on an area that in ancient times must have been of considerable importane. The characteristics of the find point out significant interpretative elements and connote interesting implications that contribute to review the approach with which we have so far dealt with the study of economic monetary history of Roman Venetis, suggesting an overhaul of the acquired convictions.
