Abstract

Between 1875 and 1884 Tommaso Salvini went three times on tour in London. This article aims to investigate and analyze the interpretative and methodological characteristics of the great Italian actor through the critical pages of the English press. The attempt is to highlight the methodological and practical aspects of his performing art – through the analysis of articles, essays and reviews.
