Sul barocchismo di Giorgio Manganelli e una Nota su Eugenio d’Ors

Abstract

Prendendo le mosse dalla tesi di laurea in scienze politiche e dagli appunti critico-letterari scritti tra il 1945 e il 1948, per poi giungere ai pezzi giornalistici degli anni Settanta e Ottanta, l’intento di questo saggio è ipotizzare che il barocchismo di Giorgio Manganelli assuma fin dal suo primo manifestarsi le forme “inquiete” di una categoria dello spirito, che si agita sulla soglia di un’esperienza metastorica ispirata dalle teorie sul barocco di Eugenio d’Ors.

Moving from the texts and critical notes of the period between 1945 and 1948 and then arriving at the journalistic works of the Seventies and Eighties, this essay proposes that Giorgio Manganelli’s baroque assumed from its first manifestation the “troubled” forms of a category of the spirit, stretched out on the threshold of a meta-historical experience mediated by Eugenio d’Ors.
