This paper examines the potential impact of climate-induced displacement on EU host countries, with a particular focus on the labor market implications. It reviews key national case law addressing the protection of climatedisplaced persons, distinguishing between substantiated claims and unfounded applications. Building upon existing scholarship on migration and EU labor markets, the paper investigates how future displacement driven by climate change may affect labor dynamics across the Union. Finally, it proposes targeted policy measures aimed at fostering fair and effective integration of climate-displaced persons into the EU’s socioeconomic framework.it_IT
