Divagazioni sulla linea Gadda-Bianciardi

Abstract

Questo saggio mette in relazione tra loro alcuni aspetti delle poetiche di Carlo Emilio Gadda e di Luciano Bianciardi ipotizzando l’esistenza di una linea di continuità riguardo alla funzione euristica sia del pastiche sia dell’eros, quest’ultimo eletto da entrambi gli autori – per quanto ovviamente con le dovute differenze – a dispettoso strumento atto a mettere a nudo le ipocrisie e il conformismo della società del proprio tempo.

This essay explores Gadda’s influence on the writing of Luciano Bianciardi. It proposes that, in addition to a certain continuity along the heuristic function of pastiche, an affinity can also be found in the way both authors ascribe to eros a heuristic function, as both – obviously with due differences – appear to select it as a spiteful tool to lay bare the hypocrisy and conformism of the society of their time.
