«L'ultimo cavaliere errante de' tempi moderni». «Dei Sepolcri» di Foscolo dalla “coscienza” desanctisiana alla critica intertestuale del Novecento
Abstract
After analyzing part of the De Sanctis essay devoted to the Sepolcri, but
also with links to other works by Foscolo, there is a picture of the essential
lines of the resumption of some genial intuitions of the critics of Irpinia and
their overcoming in the hermeneutic hubs of the twentieth century, Donadoni
and Croce in Fubini and Binni, Gavazzeni and Scotti in Muscetta and Di
Benedetto, highlighting the intertextual relations of Carme with burial poetry
not only English but also and above all French, by Delille in Legouvé.
