Abstract
The present paper aims to investigate the real and potential impact of translation and linguistic mediation
on global corporate communications. The analysis shows that translation represent an important
driver for global companies, because it has a growing influence on customers’ perception of
corporate activities and communication. In a corporate context, a good translation can have positive
effects on company-customer interaction and, overall, on international corporate image.
