Corpus Areopagiticum в сочинениях Протопопа Аввакума
Abstract
Сorpus Areopagiticum in the protopope Avvakum Petrov’s works.
In the article the author attempts to reveal the borrowings and dependence on
the texts of Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite in the works of one of the
leaders of the Russian church schism in the 17th century – protopope Avvakum. On the grounds of the performed analysis the author concludes that
within his struggle against Niconianism Avvakum was most interested in the
questions of apophatic and cataphatic theology, the structure of the celestial
hierarchy and the problem of the relationship between truth and being. The
examination of the works of the protopope is preceded by an historical introduction, in which certain crucial moments of functioning of the Сorpus Areopagiticum in Rus’ are noted
