Le tecnologie nei quadri di riferimento, negli standard e nei portfolio linguistici internazionali
Abstract
The paper provides an outline of the role of technology in some of the most important frameworks,
standards and portfolios in use for language education. An analysis of these texts is particularly useful
to understand the reception of the research on Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) outside
the specialized literature. Two dimensions, namely generic vs. specific and procedural vs. integrated, are
identified through which it is possible to appreciate the different perspectives expressed by each of these
texts and evaluate their potential contribution to the definition of a CALL syllabus.
