On the basis of the thoughtful theoretical elaboration arising from the analysis of testimonial literature produced in Latin America, I intend to propose a reading of the work of Massimo Carlotto that focuses attention on the will to witness and report that animates it. I will focus especially on the texts that bind Italy and Argentina in order to identify a biographical and ideological plot and to highlight the elements of formal continuity intended to outline the choices of a generation between political impulses and existential defeats.it_IT
