La rappresentazione del patrimonio storico-scolastico attraverso la voce dei maestri
Abstract
The article aims to contribute to the reflection on the potential of oral
sources in the representation of the evolution of school buildings and school furnishings
within the Public History of Education included within the activities of the Third Mission
conducted by the University’s research group of Molise. Specifically, the examination of
some excerpts of interviews from the audiovisual series “School Memories” administered
to teachers born in the 1920s will be functional in illustrating the contribution of individual memories in the construction of a collective memory relating to the educational
space. We will try to draw attention to how the choice to carry out the interviews at school
institutes and/or school history museums is decisive in terms of results in the process of
co-construction of the individual and collective memory of the historical-scholastic heritage thanks to the evocative power of the objects preserved there.
