The two-act drama L’Oro di San Berillo, by Domenico Trischitta, recalls both the title of the 1947 famous book, L’Oro di Napoli, by Giuseppe Marotta, from which in 1954 the film of the same name by Vittorio De Sica was taken, and the popular setting of the six epi-sodes which the book consists in. |
