Abstract: Cyprus Dispute is considered to be one of the oldest unresolved disputes. However, in recent year, it is believed that there is a hope that it can be resolved. This paper is a conflict assessment of the dispute, and it gives a brief historical background, and discusses the position of the actors involved; and whether their positions can drive or mitigate the conflict. It touches upon the dividers and connectors of the conflict, which if dealt with carefully, can lead to an optimal solution. The paper gives an overall picture of the conflict, and discusses the possibilities in future.
