Abstract: This essay is about the relationship between the Italian nationalism and the French nationalism. Two very important intellectuals of this period were Gabriele d’Annunzio and Roberto Forges Davanzati. The author, in this prospective, analyses their correspondence. Some of these documents are now on the archive of Fondazione del Vittoriale, some others are being held by Forges’s family.
