Abstract: | In present research article, the different social, economic and legal as-pects that favor or limit the Colombian energy transition towards energy mix composition that combines successfully the hydrocarbons rational exploitation with the insertion of non-conventional renewable energy sources like biomass and other included in the legal frame stablished by 1715-2014 law is discussed. Whit a qualitative methodology, a current scenario of hydrocarbons exploitation and the state of the proved reserves is discussed as a fundamental item to make evident the necessity to start an energetic transition process and the components of a law enforcement required to boost the transition or they that makes it go slow down. |
