Abstract

Esch-sur-Alzette è una cittadina di circa 36.000 abitanti situata nell’area mineraria del Lussemburgo. Un’esposizione temporanea all’Escher Pop-Up-Store ha inteso misurarsi con un approccio creativo allo storytelling. Venticinque oggetti hanno raccontato la storia della città multiculturale di Esch con un focus sul Novecento. Un progetto partecipativo e di co-curatela che trasforma la cittadinanza in comunità patrimoniale inducendola a prendersi cura della propria storia.

Esch-sur-Alzette is a town of about 36,000 inhabitants located in the Luxembourg mining area. A temporary exhibition at the Escher Pop-Up-Store intended to compete with a creative approach to storytelling. Twenty-five objects told the story of the multicultural city of Esch with a focus on the twentieth century. A participatory and co-curatorship project that transforms citizenship into a patrimonial community, inducing it to take care of its own history.
