Abstract

«Il menabò» di Vittorini e Calvino è uno strumento di orientamento e di verifica delle tendenze letterarie della seconda metà del Novecento. La rivista consta di dieci numeri pubblicati dal 1959 al 1967. Il titolo allude allo strumento della realizzazione grafica di un lavoro editoriale. Un nome legato ad un’idea di funzionalità che pone in primo piano l’intento tutt’altro che dogmatico della rivista. Ciò che muove i direttori è l’analisi delle trasformazioni sociali ed economiche attraverso cui si manifesta la modernità. Il proposito del numero 4 de «Il menabò» è quello di interrogarsi continuamente al fine di dare risposte concrete alla ricerca di una reale visione di un mondo ancora «imposseduto».

The result of number 4 of «Il menabò» is questioning about the possibility of giving concrete answers and a real vision of a world that is still «not possessed».
