La teatralità intermediale dell’ultimo Petri

Abstract

Negli ultimi anni il regista Elio Petri è stato oggetto di una tardiva riscoperta critica e accademica. Proseguendo su tale strada, la presente ricerca si focalizza sull’ultima tormentata fase del suo cammino artistico, dove l’esplorazione del reale si struttura sempre più in senso intermediale. Infatti, Petri riesce a far dialogare felicemente differenti linguaggi comunicativi. In particolare, il teatro rappresenta il perno attorno al quale il regista articola il proprio discorso poetico e stilistico.

In recent years the director Elio Petri has been the protagonist of a belated critical and academic rediscovery. Continuing along this path, this research focuses on the last tormented phase of his artistic journey, where the exploration of reality is increasingly structured in an intermedial sense. In fact, Petri managesto make different communication languages dialogue happily. In particular, the theatre represents the pivot around which the director articulates his poetic and stylistic discourse.
