Abstract: This contribution aims to highlight the activities currently being prepared at the Comprehensive Institute “G. Fortunato” of Picerno (Pz) in relation to the conservation and valorisation of its historical-educational heritage. In this regard, a collective book is being prepared, created by the teachers, and a first mapping of the documentation present in the school’s historical archive has been carried out. This material will also be the basis for the creation of a school museum. Again from this perspective, and through Public History, a project was created in the 2022-23 school year where students retraced some important historical phases in the history of their municipality.
