La «forosetta» e la Vergine: due laude imitative su melodie del tardo Trecento

Abstract

Il contributo è dedicato allo studio di due laude imitative composte su melodie tardo-trecentesche, etrambe derivate da fonti in cui si decantano le virtù di una deliziosa «forosetta». I due testi, Da cciel mandato a ssalutar Maria e A una vergine pulcra, con diletto, sviluppano il tema dell’Annunciazione. Si fornisce pertanto l’edizione, corredata da note di commento e da un’introduzione sullo status quaestionis.

This essay is devotd to the analysis of two imitative laude on arsnvistic melodies from the late XIVth Century, both coming from melodi sources in which the virtues of a delicious «forosetta» are celebrated. The two texts, Da cciel mandato a ssalutar Maria and A una vergine pulcra, con diletto, develop the theme of the Annunciation. In these pages the edition, accompanied by commentary notes and an introduction on the status quaestionis, is provided.
