Dante e i trovatori

Abstract

Il saggio analizza il rapporto tra Dante e la lirica trobadorica, ricostruendo i canali di trasmissione della poesia d’oc nella sua opera. Nella Commedia la tradizione occitanica è superata e ri-semantizzata in chiave teologica: emblematica la figura di Folco, la cui conversione solleva interrogativi critici e riflette la metamorfosi poetica e spirituale di Dante. La sua presenza nel Paradiso mette in discussione la “glossa ufficiale” e riapre il dibattito sul presunto “Dante cataro”.

The essay examines the relationship between Dante and the troubadour lyric tradition, reconstructing the channels through which Occitan poetry reached his work. In the Commedia, the Occitan tradition is both surpassed and resemanticized within a theological framework: emblematic in this respect is the figure of Folco, whose conversion raises critical questions and mirrors Dante’s own poetic and spiritual transformation. Folco’s presence in the Paradiso further challenges the “official gloss” and reopens the debate on the alleged “Cathar Dante.”
