Abstract:	This essay explores the concept of «communities» as objects of study and as actors in Italian and international Public History practices. Before describing three cases of community-sourcing in communities located in Italy, the United States and Belgium, we discuss how the «community» has been studied in the recent history of Italian Public History and its «glocal» dimension based on the Book of Abstracts of the Associazione Italiana di Public History annual conferences from 2017 to 2025.
