Understandig the concept of nation written by Homi Bhabha, this research article intent to show with a qualitative methodology that the poetics of the playwright, performer, feminist, and activist for women’s right Perla de la Rosa (1964) endorses this concept of nation by recreating in her works the social and historical-political crisis of Ciudad Juárez and trying to subvert the official dehumanizing speech. In order to achieve all that, this article analyze her theatre plays: Antígona voces que incendian el desierto (2004), El enemigo (2010), Justicia Negada (2013) and A la orilla del río (2019).it_IT
