The historical tale has always been more effective and engaging with theuse of sounds and images than with the fixity of the written word. In a certain way,the audio/visual dimension allowed by the digital turn brings the tale back to itsoriginal fluidity, returning it to its original identity. As a tale made by sounds andimages, the“story”must have its own styles, special effects, pauses, and rhythms, which have a decisive and primary importance related to its contents. The currentdigital revolution has emphasized this ability of the storytelling to influence, invokeand evocate and captivate by multiplying the ways and the tools in order to pro-duce and pubish audio-visual“stories”and increasing and modifying the impactforce of the historical audiovisual narrative.
