dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this work is to investigate the image of the new woman in Spanish culture and literature of the Twenties and Thirties, through a wide and varied corpus that includes both the novel and various forms of literature published in the press, in addition to newspaper articles. Special emphasis is given to the look of the new Eva, her outfit and haircut. Indeed, this was one of the most striking and feared features of the modernization of the female figure about which Magda Donato, Teresa de Escoriaza, Federica Montseny, Ramón Gómez de la Serna, Carmen de Burgos and many other authors, wrote. | it_IT |
