Il ritmo hip hop di Sanguineti: da “Rap” alle forme d’arte underground nella «Wunderkammer»

Abstract

Spinto dall’interesse per la contaminazione intermediale, Sanguineti si è spesso avventurato nei territori della musica, approdando di volta in volta ai lidi più diversi: la sua attenzione negli anni ’90 viene attirata dal repertorio giovanile e dall’arte underground. Sulla base dei documenti conservati nella Wunderkammer si possono ora leggere le riflessioni contenute nell’articolo “Rap e poesia” e in numerose interviste, ricostruendo così la genesi di “Rap”, lo spettacolo poetico-musicale ideato nel 1996 in collaborazione con Andrea Liberovici, e provando a chiarire le ragioni linguistiche e militanti alla base dell’attenzione del poeta per l’hip hop.

Driven by the interest in intermedial contamination, Sanguineti has often ventured into the territories of music, arriving from time to time in different shores: in the 1990s, he becomes fond of the youth repertoire and the underground art. On the basis of the documents preserved in the ‘Wunderkammer’ it is now possibleto read the reflectionscontained in the article ‘Rap e poesia’ and in many interviews, thus retracing the genesis of ‘Rap’, the poetic-musical spectacle written in 1996 with Andrea Liberovici, and trying to clarify the linguistic and militant reasons behind the poet’s attention to hip hop.
