The essay examines Madrid. Mesi di incubo, published in 1937 by Sperling & Kupfler and presented by the journalist Giulia d’Arienzo as her testimony of the Spanish Civil War. The research shows the author’s ambiguous profile, sent to the Iberian Peninsula as a spy for the fascist regime, as well as a series of isotopies of the text with the propaganda literature of the terror rojo, developped in Spain among the sublevados.it_IT
