Abstract: | The objective of this research article is the analysis of the contribution of the university to the development of a country and the generation of competitive advantages. To this end, through a comparative methodology, the article presents focuses on the educational dimension of entrepreneurship according to the efforts of two countries: Colombia and Italy. The results of this analysis show that, in comparison to the educational context of technological and university training in both countries, the most appropriate aspect of the Italian educational system in relation to the Colombian system is that, although Italy is below the average of the advanced economies and Colombia is above average in relation to other countries of the region that are in the same phase of development. In addition, the dynamism that characterizes the Colombian context in terms of higher education is highlighted, from a rather complex point of view. While, as far as Italy is concerned, even at a more advanced stage of economic development, there is a period of stagnation. |
