Abstract: This paper is an analysis which focuses on the vision and construction ofthe “others” in two Argentinean plays: Los hermanos queridos, written in 1978 by Carlos Gorostiza, and Príncipe azul, 1982, by Eugenio Griffero. These two plays propose an approach tothe idea of families and lovers as enemies, as absent entities, which, after being an “us” in the idyllic past, there are now spatially and temporally separated, constituting themselves as “strangers”.
