Per una metrica della memoria: D’Arrigo fino a "Horcynus Orca"

Abstract

Il saggio indaga, passando in rassegna alcune ricorrenze dell’opera darrighiana, la centralità della categoria della ‘durata’ dell’architesto poetico all’interno dei vari generi in cui l’autore si è esercitato lungo una vita. La permanenza del codice poetico, rintracciata a partire dalle prime prove di scrittura – contemporaneamente poetica e saggistico-giornalistica – fino all’opus magnum narrativo horcyniano, attesta una circolarità dello stesso codice all’interno dell’officina autoriale, mostrando una resistenza di temi, ossessioni, ricorrenze testuali e categorie interpretative che configurano una puntuale e rigorosa metrica della memoria. Il saggio indaga la fitta ‘preistoria autoriale’ della silloge poetica e dell’opus narrativo e le coerenti, pur variamente declinate, interrelazioni fra le due opere edite.

The essay investigates, by reviewing some recurrences of D’Arrigo’s work, the centrality of the poetic ‘architesto’ within the various genres in which the author has practiced over a lifetime. The permanencee of the poetic code, traced starting from the first tests of writing – in the same period poetic and essay-journalistic – up to the horcynian narrative ‘opus magnum’, attests to a circularity of the same code within the authorial workshop, showing a resistance of themes, obsessions, textual recurrences and interpretative categories that configure a punctual and rigorous ‘metric of memory’. The essayinvestigates the dense authorial prehistory of the poetic sylloge and of the narrative work and the coherent, though variously declined, interrelation between the two published work.
