Abstract: “Albergo Italia” (1985) prosegue il lavoro di esplorazione della realtà italiana a metà degli anni Ottanta intrapreso con “Viaggio in Italia” (1983) e ibrida i generi della tradizione letteraria con l’obiettivo di individuare forme, luoghi, paesaggi e opere d’arte che resistono al degrado e alla costante attività di cancellazione del bello dall’orizzonte contemporaneo.
‘Albergo Italia’ (1985) continues the exploration of Italian reality in the mid-eighties initiated with ‘Viaggio in Italia’ (1983) and experience the hybridization of the genres of literary tradition with the aim of identifying forms, places, landescpes and artworks that withstand the deterioration and counteract the continuous activity of erasing beauty from the contemporary perspective.
