Abstract: | The article deals with the vegetable element in Girolamo Comi’s poems (1890-1968). The vegetal element is not only understood as part of the natural scenery and landscape context, but as a driving element of poetic imagination. Based on a research work focused on the value of some keywords (tree, forest, trunk, root), in the corpus of Poesie(from the new 2019 edition Musicaos), the article outlines three dimensions in the poetic imagination of the tree: the sacred and absolute tree, the analogical fusion and the ascensional force. |
