Abstract: | Luigi Candoni (1921-1974) today: an almost unknown author, despite he witnessed the tran-sition from the author's theatre to the director's theatre in Italy, where he brought the avant-garde of Beckett, Adamov, Ionesco. Defending the role of the theatre author, he proposes as the Italian theatre avant-garde way a theatre of hope, seeking the Being beyond the shoals of Nothingness: here is the Trilogy of Serenism, consisting of an essay of the same name, and The Olympics of the clowns, Oedipus in Hiroshima, Nobody dies. |
