Abstract: The contribution examines the little-known Memorie di un antifascista (1946), in which the Piedmontese writer Barbara Allason offers a valuable first-hand account of the birth and development of the clandestine conspiracy of Giustizia e Libertà in Turin. The editorial genesis of the memoir is reconstructed through author’s testimonies and other unpublished documents.
