Abstract: The article discusses the fundamentals of aymara cultural identity based on the relationship of man/cosmos dialectical interdetermination (anthro-pocosmicism) that informs ethos and articulates the world view of this people; explores the conceptual categories that nurture their rationality and regulate their community life. From here, I would like to draw at-tention to the possibility of a conceptual widening of the notion of Latin American identity as conceived to this day, contemplating for this the impact of cosmological development on the constitution of categories ca-pable of collecting the last roots of our americanity. Its methodology will be descriptive and will resort to the dialectic that matches this interdeter-mination relationship, in the perspective of its survey against procedural criteria whose ideological-cultural invoice makes it impossible to capture our ethos.
